St. Mary Mercy’s 18th Annual Gala, Autumn in New York, was inspired by the warmth and richness of fall on October 8 at the Laurel Manor Banquet and Conference Center. The evening in the “Big Apple” drew nearly 500 guests who enjoyed the sounds and season of New York City. This black-tie affair raised over $200,000 to support the Hospital and their efforts to provide the best possible care to seniors in the community.
“Proceeds from this year’s Gala will help to provide specialized emergency services to seniors in the community through the opening of our new Senior ERSM,” said David Spivey, President and CEO of St. Mary Mercy Hospital, “we are grateful to all of the event’s generous sponsors for their support and helping us to make this significant accomplishment possible.”
William & Bridget Phillips and family – Phillips Service Industries, Inc. served as the event’s Presenting Sponsor. Platinum sponsors were Guardian Heating and Plumbing and Temperature Services, Inc. both in Livonia. Huron Valley Radiology served as the event’s Gold Sponsor.
“It has been an honor serving as Chair of the Autumn In New York Gala for St. Mary Mercy Hospital and leading the dedicated group who make up the planning committee,” said Sandra Bojrab, Chair of the 2010 Gala, “the evening drew upon the excitement and energy of the most beloved cities in the nation and exemplifies the progress and commitment the Hospital has made to continually providing great care to the community.”
