Skilled Nursing - skilled nursing services are offered to those who need home care after a hospital stay or because of a chronic illness or disability. Individuals can remain independent and in the comfort of their own home.
Rehabilitation Services - Mercy Homecare offers a comprehensive home care program for patients needing physical, occupational or speech therapy at home. These services help patients continue their recovery from surgery or an illness in the comfort of home. Rehab services are also available for those with mobility problems caused by a stroke, chronic condition or the aging process.
Hearts in Motion - Mercy offers a program of coordinated home care services for cardiac patients; working with the patient's physician and other health care professionals to provide a treatment plan with a variety of therapies provided in the home. Telemedicine and non-invasive monitoring is now available.
Joint Care- This is a collaborative approach to smooth the transition from hospital to home care designed to optimize outcomes and quicken the recovery process following surgery.
Skin Integrity - This program is designed to maximize wound healing while increasing patient comfort. Staffed by Wound Care Specialist nurses, we offer the newest care techniques and products.
Infusion therapy - Mercy Homecare provides a wide variety of home infusion therapies to meet both short and long term needs of patients in the comfort of their own home
Neurologic / CVI - Our interdisciplinary team gives expert care to patients who have had strokes or have other neurological diseases with a focus on improving functionality.
Partners in Care - Designed for the patient who has a life threatening illness and would like to receive continued treatments, but would also benefit from emotional and spiritual care.
Hospice - Mercy Homecare works closely with its sister agency, Cranbrook Hospice Care. Hospice provides comfort, support and compassionate care to people with life-limiting illnesses and to their families in a manner that respects and cherishes the dignity and uniqueness of each individual. Hospice also fosters community acceptance that dying is an integral part of living.
Trinity Continuing Care Services - including senior housing, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities residents are served by Mercy Homecare nursing and therapy staff.

Cranbrook Hospice Care
Hospice is not a place but a specialized end of life care that supports both patients and their families. Using the most reliable treatments, hospice helps people with life-limiting illnesses remain alert and able to relate to their families. Because pain and symptoms are well managed, hospice patients are able to live with peace and dignity in the comfort of their own homes or residences such as nursing homes.
Cranbrook Hospice's care centers on the needs of patients and families. Hospice nursing staff works with the physicians the patient chooses. Other staff such as social workers, chaplains, home health aides, volunteers, and a variety of therapists work to enhance quality of life for both the patient and family.
Hospice cares for:
- People with an illness causing a limited life expectancy
- People who choose pain management, care and comfort rather than curative treatment
- People who choose no extreme means to sustain life
- People of all ages from infants to adults
- People with end-stage conditions including such diseases as cancer, heart disease, lung disease, AIDS,
- ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease), Alzheimer's and kidney failure.
- Family members and friends who are grieving the loss of a loved one
Partners in Care Program- Designed for the patient who has a life liniting illness and would like to receive continued treatments, but would also benefit from emotional and spiritual care, this program is offered by Mercy Homecare, in association with Cranbrook Hospice.
Hospice is reimbursed by Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, HMOs and many private insurance companies. No one is denied Hospice services based on their insurance or financial circumstances. Contributions to Cranbrook Hospice, a non-profit organization, allow us to provide service regardless of a patient's ability to pay.
