Patients can schedule the following diagnostic testing by calling the
Central Scheduling Department between
Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday: 7 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
When calling, you should have the following information ready:
- Your physician's order
- Name of the test
- Diagnosis the physician provided on the order
- Insurance card
The scheduler will pre-register you for your visit. You will be asked to give your personal, demographic, and insurance information.
General Radiology (X-rays) and Lab draws do not need to be scheduled. Walk-in's are accepted between 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
When you arrive at the Outpatient Registration desk on the second floor of the hospital, a registration clerk will greet you.
You will also be asked to sign a consent form giving permission to receive medical care. A parent or legal guardian must sign a consent form for patients being registered under 18 years of age.
If you are not pre-registered, the registration clerk will obtain basic information from you and will request information about you, your family, physician, employment and health insurance.
In providing you and your family with comprehensive, coordinated and compassionate care at St. Mary Mercy Hospital, each patient now receives a Patient Courtesy Card at his/her first registration. This card contains your name, date of birth, your medical record number and your Patient Identifier Number, used by St. Mary Mercy Hospital and other Trinity Health System facilities in Michigan. Presenting this card every time you visit St. Mary Mercy for health services streamlines your registration experience.
