Specialized medical services offered at the 304-bed hospital include medical/surgical, intensive/cardiac, oncology/radiation, birthing services, women’s health, diagnostic services, physical medicine and rehabilitation, behavioral medicine, 24-hour emergency care, fast track, wound care, sleep disorder center, child care, and community health education.
Through several major expansions in facility, programs and services, St. Mary Mercy Hospital continues to offer the latest in quality health and medical services since opening in 1959. The most recent expansions include a new Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, state-of-the-art Emergency Center featuring a Chest Pain Evaluation, the Diagnostic Services Center outpatient area, a state-of-the-art Birthing Center, Women’s Center, new Surgical Suites and Cancer Infusion Center. (Due to regulatory changes, the Fast Track is now part of the main emergency center. The newest services include Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Sleep Disorders Center, Prostate Brachytherapy Surgery, Pain Management, Spinal Disease Management, Cardiac CT Scoring, Electrophysiology Photon Emission Tomography (P.E.T.) and Primary Emergency Angioplasty (PPCI) services.
