Marian Women's Center
The Marian Women's Center provides diagnostic services, bone density testing and comprehensive breast care. The Comprehensive Breast Center provides care from screening and diagnostics through all phases of treatment, including digital mammography, cyst aspirations, needle localization, stereotactic biopsy, ultrasound and fine needle aspiration.
Miracle of Life Birthing Center
The Miracle of Life Birthing Center offers a family-centered philosophy of care. Our mission is to provide care that best meets the physical, educational, spiritual and emotional needs of new mothers, families and support persons. All Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) rooms offer a comfortable, home-like environment. With our mother-baby nursing program, the same nurses care for both mom and her newborn.
Nurse navigation expedites care for all breast care services, especially breast cancer. From screening mammograms through all breast care needs, the Nurse Navigator assists with scheduling procedures and appointments as well as provides patient education and community resources. Obstetrics and Gynecology
Our obstetricians and gynecologists provide care for women of all ages. From pregnancy to infertility, perimenopause to menopause and urogynecology and gynecologic surgery, women receive the highest quality care in a compassionate and professional manner.
Cancers of the female genital tract require specialized treatment. St. Mary Mercy Livonia serves as a primary practice site for one of only 13 board-certified gynecologic oncologists in the state of Michigan.
Perinatology Ultrasound and Maternal Fetal Medicine
A women's obstetrician is well-prepared to oversee her pregnancy and delivery of a healthy baby. Some women, however, have needs that benefit from additional, high-specialized care. Our ultrasound department is certified by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) and specialize in prenatal ultrasound and genetic procedures such as amniocentesis and Nuchal Thickening. St. Mary Mercy has certified-nurse midwives who offer care to women of all ages. Nurse midwives use evidence-based practices in comprehensive women's health care to provide preconception counseling, obstetrical and gynecological services, labor management and vaginal deliveries.
The Department of Pediatrics consists of pediatricians in full-time, private practices, whose goal is to provide exemplary health care for well, ill or disabled children. All members of the department offer comprehensive pediatric care, emphasizing well-baby care, immunizations and routine office care.
