Ladies' Night Out - Women and Heart Disease "Be Fit for Life"
Ladies’ Night Out, a community event hosted by St. Mary Mercy Hospital, will feature a presentation focusing on women’s cardiovascular health, on Thursday, February 21, in the St. Mary Mercy Hospital South Auditorium. “Know Your Numbers” screenings – Blood Pressure, Cholesterol and Body Mass Index – as well as Massages will be offered from 4 – 6:45 p.m., and the lecture will be from 7 – 8:30 p.m. St. Mary Mercy physician Delair Gardi, MD, medical director, Endovascular Services and interventional cardiologist, will be the guest speaker.
Learn everything you need to know about women’s cardiovascular health, with an emphasis on:
· Reducing your risk for heart disease
· Heart conditions including coronary artery disease, abnormal heart rhythm (arrhythmia), aortic valve disease, cardiomyopathy, aortic aneurysm, stroke and heart attack
Light refreshments, prizes and community vendors will be provided. Registration for this event is required. There is no charge, but a $5 goodwill donation is requested to benefit Marian Women’s Center Programs.
