Chex Mix Recipe

Heart Healthy Recipe Diabetes Recipe
Chex Mix is delicious, but commercial brands are very high in salt. Try this delicious homemade Chex mix and save the sodium and calories.

Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 cups rice Chex® cereal
    • 2 cups melba rounds
    • 2 cups bite-size pretzels (unsalted)
    • 1 cup sunflower seeds
    • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 Tbsp steak seasoning
    • 2 tsp chili powder
    • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
    • 1 Tbsp onion powder

Preparation

    • Preheat oven to 250°. In a bowl, mix all ingredients together and toss well. Spread over a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, stirring once halfway through baking. Repeat until mixture is dry. Store in an airtight container up to 1 week.
