St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Offers Free Smoking Cessation Program
Classes to Be Held in New Cancer Resource and Support Center at Hospital
Pontiac, Mich.—St. Joseph Mercy Oakland (SJMO) will offer a free three-session smoking cessation program in October.
The free program will offer education and counseling to help attendees quit smoking for good. Program sessions will be taught by trained smoking cessation educators.
Enrollees must attend all three program sessions, which will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, Oct. 2, 9 and 16. An optional individual counseling session will be offered the same hours on Wednesday, Oct. 30. All sessions will meet in the Community Room of the new Cancer Resource and Support Center within the Alice Gustafson Center on the hospital campus, 44405 Woodward Ave., Pontiac, Mich., 48341.
