Hearing disorders are commonplace and can be related to birth complications, infections, exposure to loud noise, medications, and heredity, as well as the aging process. As the U.S. population ages, the emergence of hearing-related problems and other inner ear disorders (including balance-related ailments) will significantly rise.
The SJMO Audiology Department provides a full range of hearing and balance testing, using the latest diagnostic equipment available. Services are provided to the newborn through geriatric populations.
