Mercy Regional Cancer Center Publishes 2009 Cancer Care Annual Report

Port Huron, MI…Providing an in-depth review of local prostate cancer treatment and survival statistics, St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron is pleased to present the Mercy Regional Cancer Center 2009 Cancer Care Annual Report.

The Annual Report, featuring local cancer care statistics through the Mercy Regional Cancer Center, can be accessed by going to the St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron website at:, and visiting the Cancer Center section.

The report provides detailed information regarding the programs, services and accomplishments of the Mercy Regional Cancer Center as one of the area’s leading providers of cancer services, screening and treatment.

In addition to St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron being named “Best in Cancer Care” by the Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons [2008] and the only local winner of the CoC’s Outstanding Achievement Award, the report reflects St. Joseph Mercy’s outstanding and comprehensive array of cancer programming.
