New Medical Staff Leadership Named at St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron

Port Huron, MI…St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Medical Staff is pleased to announce its 2011-12 elected leadership positions. Beginning in January 2011, Daniel Shogren, DO, will serve as Chief of the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Medical Staff. He succeeds Philip Matich, MD, who held the position from 2009 – 2010.

On staff as a Radiologist at St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron since 1998, Dr. Shogren offers a wealth of knowledge and experience in his leadership role. He most recently served as the Medical Staff’s Vice Chief of Staff. He is Board Certified in Radiology by the American Osteopathic Association and has received a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology. He currently provides medical services through X-Ray Associates, PC.
