Port Huron, MI…Scams targeting senior citizens are abundant and it is important that local residents are armed with information to protect themselves. Join the Michigan Attorney General Office Senior Brigade as they provide safety information and useful tools to protect seniors from telephone and mail scams. Seniors, age 55 and older, are invited to learn more about protecting themselves from being taken advantage of and falling victim to a scam. "Protect Yourself: Telephone and Mail Scam Awareness" is an engaging program in a series of Healthy Aging Seminars developed specifically for area seniors.
This event will be held Wednesday, March 19, beginning at 2 p.m., in the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Baggot Street Café (cafeteria). This FREE program includes refreshments and an opportunity to share social time.
