Services Classes & Events Careers About Us Health Centers & Urgent Care Centers

We believe cancer care should be centered on the whole patient, not just the cancer itself. That's why our remarkable patient experience is centered around a team approach. In one scheduled visit patients meet with a variety of cancer specialists to fast-track treatment plans and avoid delays by waiting for individual appointments.

Care this good should be this close.

Saint Joseph Mercy Health System is one of Michigan's most advanced cancer providers. We were the first to bring CyberKnife® radio surgery technology to the state, we provide the latest clinical research trials and our multidisciplinary team approach provides the highest quality patient outcomes.

With comprehensive Cancer Centers in Ann Arbor, Brighton and Canton, our physicians and clinical experts are committed to providing patients with the latest technology close to home. We realize that driving long distances for continued treatment can be a hardship. That's why we provide a full range of medical and radiation services and infusion therapies in three convenient locations. Your time and energy should be used to focus soley on the healing process.

Leading the way in research

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) considers us a model Community Clinical Oncology Program (CCOP). St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, is the lead institution in the Michigan Cancer Research Consortium, one of 50 programs nationwide. Nationally, we partner with top cancer centers in clinical trials, such as M.D. Anderson and Mayo Clinic.

In 2010 St. Joseph Mercy Hospital became an Awarded Site of the National Community Cancer Centers Program (NCCCP), whose mission is two-fold: To enhance cancer care at community hospitals, and to create a platform to support basic, clinical and population-based research.

Oncology Nurse Navigator Program

A cancer diagnosis is a life changing experience. Anxiety can be dramatically reduced when patients feel supported and guided through the treatment process. Our Nurse Navigator program is designed to provide education, streamline and coordinate medical appointments and tests and identify community resources, while supporting the patient throughout his or her journey with cancer.
