St. Mary Mercy is a 304-bed community hospital that has strong ties to its community in beautiful southeast Michigan. We are a member of Saint Joseph Mercy Health System. This allows us access to the academic and subspecialty clinical resources of a large tertiary care center, while allowing us to practice in a primary-care-based environment. We are affiliated with three local medical schools: Wayne State University, the University of Toledo, and Michigan State University.
As of July 2011 eight Family Medicine, eight Emergency Medicine, ten Internal Medicine, and fourteen Transitional Year Residents will be a part of St. Mary Mercy Hospital's resident physician class. These residents are individuals who are committed to excellence in everything that they do.
