Other benefits include: Health care spending account, dependent care spending account, family life insurance, group legal plan, adoption benefit, retirement plan, 403b, and parking. Each resident is also assigned a discretionary spending account that may be used to cover the cost of certain educational expenses (e.g., external conferences, books and journals, PDA's, moving expenses, educational software, etc). (Housing is not available.)
Incoming residents must pass an employment check and health screening (including a drug screen) prior to work. All residents must hold and maintain current state licensure and ACLS certification and meet eligibility criteria established by the accrediting organization. A copy of the full resident contract is available from the GME office upon request.
