Dr. Kristopher J. Aalderink

Dr. Kristopher Aalderink is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1999 and the University of Michigan Medical School in 2003. He completed his orthopedic residency at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Aalderink also completed an Orthopedic Surgery Sports Fellowship at the University of Iowa in 2009. He is board eligible by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Aalderink is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons as well as the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.

Special interests are arthroscopy of shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle as well as meniscal transplantation, corrective osteotomies and cartilage restoration.

Dr. Brian A. Borden

Dr. Brian Borden is a native of Fremont, Ohio. He graduated from Miami University in 1987 and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1991. He completed his internship and orthopedic residency at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He has also completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at the Institute for Bone & Joint Disorders in Phoenix, Arizona. He is Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Borden is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, and a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners.

His special interests are sports medicine, knee ligament reconstruction, arthroscopy, and treatment of shoulder instability and rotator cuff tears.

Dr. Mark Kelley

Dr. Mark Kelley is a native of Ann Arbor, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana in 1981 and Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York in 1987. He completed his internship & residency at Mount Sinai Medical Department of Orthopedics in New York. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Kelley is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Special interests are arthritis, arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement, osteoporosis, sports medicine, trauma and fractures.

Dr. David H. Janda

Dr. David Janda is a native of Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University. He then graduated from Northwestern University Medical School. He completed an internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Michigan. Dr Janda has also completed a shoulder fellowship at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada under the direction of Richard J. Hawkins, M.D. He became certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1992. Dr. Janda was elected to the American Shoulder and Elbow Society in 1998, a group comprised of 120 members worldwide. Dr. Janda is a member of the Michigan Orthopaedic Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Janda is founder and director of The Institute for Preventative Sports Medicine in Ann Arbor, MI. He is widely published in the field of sports medicine and has been interviewed regarding sport injury prevention by many national publications and news programs. He is Chairman of the Governor's Committee on Sports Injury and Prevention in Michigan. He has also served on several federal committees including the Federal Advisory Board, the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, Atlanta, Georgia, and the National Institute of Health Trauma Research Task Force. He has lectured throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia.

Dr. Janda's special interests are pathologic shoulder conditions and sports medicine.

Dr. Andrew Moore

Dr. Andrew Moore was born in Nashville, TN. He graduated from University of North Carolina School of Medicine in 2004. He completed his orthopedic residency at University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor, MI. He also completed an Orthopedic fellowship in Foot & Ankle Surgery at the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY. He is board eligible for the American Board of Orhtopedic Surgery. Dr. Moore is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Special interest in foot and ankle surgery, with additional training and certifications in total ankle replacement. His interests include non-operative and reconstructive procedures of the foot and ankle, as well as fracture surgery and general orthopedics.

Dr. Donald E. Wild

Dr. Donald Wild, a Michigan native, has practiced orthopedic surgery in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area for 25 years. He completed his undergraduate degree and attended medical school at the University of Michigan. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Kentucky in 1971, followed by two years of sports and trauma surgery in the United States Air Force. He became board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1972. He is a member of the following professional organizations: Michigan State Medical Society, Michigan Orthopaedic Society, the U of M Orthopedic Society, and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

He is currently limiting his practice to non-operative orthopedics with special attention to the knee, foot, ankle and pediatric orthopedics.

Dr. Robert A. Young

Dr. Young is a native of Iowa City, Iowa. He received his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Iowa. He completed an internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He became certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1987, and was re-certified in 1998. He is a member of the Washtenaw County Medical Society, the Michigan State Medical Society, the Michigan Orthopaedic Society, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Young's special interests are arthritis, joint replacement of the hip and knee, trauma surgery, and sports medicine.
