The Department of Medicine includes the areas of allergy/immunology, cardiology, critical care medicine, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, infectious disease, nephrology, neurology, pulmonary medicine, rheumatology, geriatric medicine and general internal medicine.

Patients are provided with the most advanced cardiac monitoring system in the Special Care (coronary care/intensive care) and Progressive Care units. Respiratory therapists are part of the emergency medical team providing advanced life support to critically ill and trauma patients in the emergency/critical care settings.
